Vijnana Bhairava 63 64 65 Feeling the Body, the Breath and the World, As Bliss

The practice of feeling one's body, breath or the world, as bliss :

sarvaṃ dehaṃ cinmayaṃ hi jagad vā paribhāvayet |

yugapan nirvikalpena manasā paramodayaḥ || 63 ||

"One should completely feel all the body or all the world

as filled with awareness, all at once,

with undivided attention.

The supreme awakening will come."

vāyudvayasya saṃghaṭṭād antar vā bahir antataḥ |

yogī samatvavijñānasamudgamanabhājanam || 64 ||

"Throught the fusion/friction of the two wind-(breath)

from inside to outside, or from outside to inside,

the yogi enjoys the arising of

the direct experience of equality."

sarvaṃ jagat svadehaṃ vā svānandabharitaṃ smaret |

yugapat svāmṛtenaiva parānandamayo bhavet || 65 ||

"One should keep present the whole world or one's body

as being filled with bliss, all at once.

That nectar of the Self will suffice

to become filled with supreme bliss."

Vijnana Bhairava 49 50 51 Awareness Above the Head

Tiru Gnâna Sambandhar

The practice of dissolving awareness in the space above the head (verses 50 and 51), or in the heart (verse 49) :

hṛdyākāśe nilīnākṣaḥ padmasampuṭamadhyagaḥ |
ananyacetāḥ subhage paraṃ saubhāgyam āpnuyāt || 49 ||
"With closed eyes and attention focused
in the space of the heart,
in the middle of the two lotuses joined,
one shall get supreme happiness,o Happy One !"

sarvataḥ svaśarīrasya dvādaśānte manolayāt |
dṛḍhabuddher dṛḍhībhūtaṃ tattvalakṣyam pravartate || 50 ||
"Always dissolving attention in
the space above the head of one's body,
for one who has stable intelligence,
stable being, the aim, shall become alive."

yathā tathā yatra tatra dvādaśānte manaḥ kṣipet ||
pratikṣaṇaṃ kṣīṇavṛtter vailakṣaṇyaṃ dinair bhavet || 51 ||
"Throwing attention above the head
in all situations, at each moment,
for the one whose mental activity is being destroyed,
the undefinable shall happen in days."

Shiva Linga in Kashmir, Baramulla

The experience of filling the body with breath and "exploding" it above the body, unto space :

tayāpūryāśu mūrdhāntaṃ bhaṅktvā bhrūkṣepasetunā |
nirvikalpaṃ manaḥ kṛtvā sarvordhve sarvagodgamaḥ || 31 ||
"Having quickly filled (the body) up to the head
with that (Vital Energy, and) having broken through
the bridge of the protracted eyebrows,
having made awareness undivided,
when (the Vital Energy) goes above all,
one goes above all."

Pin on Escultura hinduista
Appar

The sacred experience of finding balance within breath :

maruto 'ntar bahir vāpi viyadyugmānivartanāt |
bhairavyā bhairavasyettham bhairavi vyajyate vapuḥ || 25 ||
"When the wind do not go outside
nor inside,
by concentrating on the couple of them,
the Body of the Divine clearly manifests by that energy."

na vrajen na viśec chaktir marudrūpā vikāsite |
nirvikalpatayā madhye tayā bhairavarūpatā || 26 ||
"The breath (energy) shall not go out, nor in.
By the choiceless (energy)
expanding in the interval,
one becomes (again) divine."

kumbhitā recitā vāpi pūritā vā yadā bhavet |
tadante śāntanāmāsau śaktyā śāntaḥ prakāśate || 27 ||

emptied or filled,
at the end of that she is said to be 'healed'.
Through her, one shines, healed."

Parvati — Wikipédia

devadeva triśūlāṅka kapālakṛtabhūṣaṇa |
digdeśakālaśūnyā ca vyapadeśavivarjitā || 22 ||
yāvasthā bharitākārā bhairavasyopalabhyate |
"Ô God of gods ! You who have the Trident as your mark !
You who bear a skull as an ornament !
That state of full awareness is empty of place and time
and dévoid of example, both.

kair upāyair mukhaṃ tasya parā devi katham bhavet |
yathā samyag ahaṃ vedmi tathā me brūhi bhairava || 23 ||
"By what means can it be experienced ?
How does the Supreme Goddess
becomes the 'door' to (God) ?
Tell me that, O God,
so that I may know truly."

bhairava uvāca |
"God said :"

ūrdhve prāṇo hy adho jīvo visargātmā paroccaret |
utpattidvitayasthāne bharaṇād bharitā sthitiḥ || 24 ||
"Up is going life-breath. Down is going life.
Let one speak/ elevate the Suprême, who is both aspects.
By living fully in their two rising points,
one shall live a life of fullness."
