Vijnana Bhairava 87 88 Awakening In Darkness

The practice of meditation in the dark, to reveal inner light :

evam eva durniśāyāṃ kṛṣṇapakṣāgame ciram |

taimiram bhāvayan rūpam bhairavaṃ rūpam eṣyati || 87 ||

"Just like that, evoking darkness

for a long time in a dark night

of the dark fortnight,

one will go to the divine form."

evam eva nimīlyādau netre kṛṣṇābham agrataḥ |

prasārya bhairavaṃ rūpam bhāvayaṃs tanmayo bhavet || 88 ||

"Just like that, having first closed one's eyes,

a dark blue light appears in (the space in) front.

Realizing (that) form as divine,

one becomes that."

Vijnana Bhairava 52 53 54 Dissolving Everything Into Light

The practice of dissolving everything into light :

kālāgninā kālapadād utthitena svakam puram |
pluṣṭam vicintayed ante śāntābhāsas tadā bhavet || 52 ||
"One should visualize one's body
being burnt by the Fire of Time arising from
the big toe of the right foot.
Then at the end (of that burning), one shall be healed."

evam eva jagat sarvaṃ dagdhaṃ dhyātvā vikalpataḥ |
ananyacetasaḥ puṃsaḥ pumbhāvaḥ paramo bhavet || 53 ||
"In that very (same) way, one should contemplate the whole world
being burnt, without anything remaining (avikalpatah).
Pour the One entirely focused on that,
the One supreme state shall happen."

svadehe jagato vāpi sūkṣmasūkṣmatarāṇi ca |
tattvāni yāni nilayaṃ dhyātvānte vyajyate parā || 54 ||
"Visualizing the levels of being
dissolving away, into more and more subtle levels,
at the end the Supreme (Goddess)
will manifest clearly."
